Heather treats a wide variety of osteopathic and associated conditions and age groups, sports injuries, work related injuries, muscular strains, nerve and joint problems, post operation rehabilitation, stress related conditions, digestive problems, skin problems, women health issues to name a few. She has had a wealth of experience. Her patients have ranged in age from a few days old to 97 years old. She originally planned a career as a naturopath obtaining qualifications in remedial massage, nutrition and herbal medicine.
As part of her holistic view she combines her osteopathic treatment with knowledge of and practice of nutrition, herbal medicine, acupuncture, sports therapy, visceral manipulation, cranial osteopathy, remedial massage, corrective exercise therapy, somato emotional release, and healing. She therefore offers a broad range of osteopathic and other treatment to suit your individual needs.
Heather is well aware of the contribution of orthodox medicine having to liaise with doctors and surgeons when absolutely necessary. She has also been involved with many insurance claims regarding accident situations and similar.
Heather has developed her own individual professional style, the well-being of her patient being her uppermost concern. She uses her learnt skills, experience, common sense and intuition to enable her to adapt to her patients’ needs.
